About Me
Freddielicious was founded by Marie in 2020.
A small home-based business in Shirland, Derbyshire.
I first started creating chocolate back in 2015 with my business ‘Love Little Treats’.
In December 2017 I welcomed my little boy into the world and therefore took a break.
My husband became ill with Guillian Barre Syndrome in 2020 and I really needed something to focus on so I restarted the business but with a new name ‘Freddielicious’ named after my son
I absolutely love what I do, creating beautiful and delicious treats for everyone. I am very lucky that I don’t have to work full time and creating chocolate goodies is more of a hobby, I don’t have to do it, I want too!
Here at Freddielicious everything is handcrafted by myself using the finest Belgian Chocolate and ingredients.
I am a self-taught chocolatier and have learnt everything (and still learning) at home in my little kitchen (and now, in my new workshop!)
I am bursting with creativity and adore all things chocolate! (Who doesn't?!)
I strive for high quality and perfection; this shows in my chocolate design’s.
In April 2024 I decided to convert my garage into a new chocolate workshop as i just needed more space and I absolutely love it! 🥰
Freddielicious is fully registered with North East Derbyshire Council, Insured and has a 5⭐️ Hygiene Rating!
